To keep things simple we have an uncomplicated delivery costs system. If you purchase a new machine, any items in the same order will also be delivered free. All items not eligible for free delivery parts & accessories will attract a flat rate of just £12.95 + VAT regardless of the quantity you purchase. We appreciate that often there will be a need for the quickest possible delivery.

Most stocked machines will, if ordered before 1pm, be delivered next working day.

Carriers will make delivery to the door (or site) but not to locations within. Installation is not included unless otherwise agreed. You must make sure that you have appropriate safe and sufficient handling facilities to receive the goods you have ordered and that there is a suitably qualified person present to supervise the delivery and that any large or bulky items can fit through the required access! Any charges incurred from an unsuccessful delivery attempt by the carrier must be paid for by the customer as recipient.

Deliveries required at specific times during the working day will be charged extra.

Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 1 business day. International orders are generally received in under 5 days.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

At the point of delivery

Customers are advised that they should un-pack and inspect all goods upon delivery, If any shortages, damage, incorrect or faulty equipment are noted the delivery note must be signed damaged or accordingly and we must be notified within 24 hours from receipt of goods or a claim cannot be established against the delivery company. Deliveries signed for as received in good condition or unchecked will be the customer's responsibility. Once they have been signed for in this manner, any claims for damage or shortages will be rejected.

Where next-day free delivery is offered this only applies to the UK mainland and no guaranteed delivery time must be assumed. We will normally send your order to you in 1 - 5 business days.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

The product has been sited in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
The goods are kept in your possession and a regular 12 month annual proof of maintenance must be kept.

Scotsman operate a "back to base" on parts only guarantee. The customer will arrange for the faulty goods to be returned to them for repair or replacement, but we cannot offer replacement or loan machines in these cases. Parts or repairs provided under warranty inherit the unexpired portion of the warranty from the original equipment
Every effort will be made by us to handle all service calls quickly, however the manufacturer will dictate the service arrangements. If a service call is requested during the guarantee period only on full warranty cover machines and the fault lies with the operation or installation and not the equipment itself, all charges incurred will be payable by you, the customer.

If any person undertakes the supply and/or fitting of parts not specified or supplied by the manufacturer, then any guarantee for that product may be void.

Wear and tear of a product is not covered by guarantee, nor is damage, misuse, or lack of maintenance (including cleaning or descaling) where applicable. The EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is one of a series of 'producer responsibility' Directives that makes EU producers of new equipment pay for the recycling and/or safe treatment and disposal of the products they put on the market when they eventually come to be thrown away.
